Laughing All The Way...

I LOVE our New Years tradition.  As you probably remember from last year, as we celebrate my parent's birthday we also play a rousing game of NERT.  Beckham went to sleep flawlessly at 7pm which allowed Micah and I an adult filled night.  On top of the usual crowd of my family, my aunt and uncle, we had a few new visitors this year.  Lindsey's man, Matt brought his parents, his brother, and grandma.  Lindsey's cute friend Michelle joined as as well as my cousins Cameron and Lori.  We had such a blast.  Matt's family is from New Hampshire and I LOVE their thick accents and they are just a riot.  Micah and I really cleaned up winning the top prize of $100!!!  It was our first year to find the prize and we were so excited!  Take a look at the crew...

After, we sang happy birthday and counted down to the New Year!

My mom's cake was Key Lime and my dad's was a chocolate bundt.  So good.

This year my mom was turning 50.  She didn't really want anything, so we kept it very low key.  To me, it was an awesome day.  I would love to have that for my birthday.  We surprised her by finding a babysitter for the little boys and all the adults went to a movie and then to my mom's favorite restaurant...Five Alls.   I have to say we did miss Jordan and Melyn:(, but it was so nice being together.  Afterwards we went back to my parent's for presents and cake...
